Setting categories is one simple job that needs to be done when you instal 42k Ambergreen Front Page so that it displays correctly.

Its simple to do, just follow the procedure here:

Enter into your websites Wordpress Admin area and select Appearance from the menu. Then select Editor and you will be presented with a new screen with a file editor in the middle and a list of your theme files on the right hand side. From this list please select Main Index Template (index.php) as you can see in the image on the right.

The index code will now load into the middle file editor.

You will need the category numbers (If your unsure where to get these please see this tutorial) for the two categories you are going to use for the top feature and middle columns. Once you have those find the following, which will be the top two lines in the file.

<?php $topfeature="XX" ?> <?php $colcat="YY" ?>

You simply edit XX to your Top Feature Category and YY for the middle column categories. When you have added the numbers your file should look like ours below where we have added the numbers 107 for our Top Feature and 106 for our Middle Columns

Once those are in, save the file and your all done! Any time you want to change the categories simply do the same again!
