No, your old uploads will stay in the same place, all future uploads will be moved around though. There is no right or wrong way of organizing it really, its all down to personal choice. I prefer keeping everything in one place and making it easy to get to.

I have this checked around 2 years. What happens if I remove it now? Will all my uploads be re-organized and the modified link will appear in my blogs that are already published?
