So.. I’m had the same problem. Perhaps a way to explain is the “image name” is the url starting with the date.

thanks for the quick response david! i found out i had to change the name of the image to include the date in front of the name of the file as follows 2010/02/Header-for-Blog.jpg anyone else having the same problem should try it.

When I click on your image address from your front page I get the address twice. Can you confirm that in your image name box it says “2010/02/Header-for-Blog.jpg” which is all it should need to reach the image.

hello,
i am having the exact same problem…i put the name of the file…that didn’t work, then i tried the url of the file…that didn’t work either…please help!!

I’m having the same problem: can’t get the header image to display. It’s uploaded properly, etc. I also tried the url and the file name.

Hi there,
Installed 42k newest version and designed my own header, saved as a jpeg. I uploaded it to my media library, input the size and file name, as instructed but it won’t display. I tried using both the URL and the file name of the image but neither worked.

how can I get 42k version 1.8 of the theme? I downloaded and installed the theme a couple of days ago and it says that I have version 1.6 and so it is more difficult to add a header image as I have no option of choice of heads.
